"It wasn't easy. It's a lot of hard work," pro wrestler Dwayne Johnson told USA Today of bulking up to play a bodybuilder in Pain & Gain opposite Mark Wahlberg. The actor said his added muscle appeared much larger on the big screen than it really was. "Onscreen, that small amount of extra pounds translates to 50 pounds, making my character look like an 800-pound silverback gorilla just released from jail."

To keep her bikini bod (seen here in a carefree snap posted to Twitter) in perfect shape, the Shameless actress tries to cook for herself as often as possible. "I like making some vegan dishes, although I'm not vegan. I like making scrambled tofu with spinach and rice pilaf in a curry sauce," the actress tells Us. "Lots of good flavors you can add without adding too many unhealthy fats."

"I like to jog and I try to focus on floor-based Pilates to strengthen and lengthen," the super-fit Extra cohost (showing her midriff in a Twitter snapshot) tells Us. "I'm not someone who carries any kind of serious routine. I try to keep a healthy attitude about it. I deal with whatever it is. The most I will do before a beach trip is run a few nights before."

No stranger to posting selfies on social media, Cyrus flashed her abs in a Twitter picture, which featured her in a bra top and studded leather jacket. In a recent interview with Elle U.K., Cyrus claimed she doesn't want to oversell her sex appeal. "A star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power," she told Elle. "Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your tits. I don't want to be a glorified model."

"I don't mind the fascination . . . People are sitting in the barbershop talking about my butt. It's conversational," Minaj (posing in sky high heels and a curve-hugging pink frock on Twitter) told MTV in 2011. "That's what people are gonna do. As long as they're talking about Nicki Minaj, I'm good."

Amanda Bynes on Arrest: "I'm Suing NYPD" Because "You Can't Lock Up An Innocent Person!"

Amanda Bynes isn't too keen on staying quiet about her recent arrest. The former Nickelodeon child star took to Twitter on Monday, May 27, to tell her side of the story and to inform fans that she's planning on taking legal action against the NYPD for lying, sexually harassing her, and checking her into a mental hospital against her will.

Amanda Bynes took to Twitter on Monday, May 27, to say that she's planning on suing the NYPD for lying about her arrest.
Credit: Splash News
"For once and for all, this is the last thing I'll say about the mistaken arrest," she begins her lengthy Twitter post. "I'm suing NYPD for illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia, then I'm suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will, then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am."

Bynes, 27, then goes on to say that she was "offended" that the police would dare to take her to a mental hospital, and that she is "so proud to not be a drug or alcohol user."

On Thursday, May 23, Bynes was taken into custody and charged with marijuana possession, attempted evidence tampering and reckless endangerment after she was reportedly spotted smoking in the lobby of her New York apartment building. When police officers responded to a call from the building personnel, Bynes invited them into her apartment, which smelled of marijuana and had a bong inside.

According to a spokesperson for the NYPD, Bynes allegedly threw the bong out the window and then "did not resist arrest." The troubled star reportedly argued that it was "just a vase," TMZ reported. The spokesperson told Us that Bynes "did not resist arrest."

Bynes recounted a different series of events, however, tweeting two days later that the reports of her arrest were "all lies."

"I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me," she tweeted. "He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal. I then called the cops on him. He handcuffed me, which I resisted, quite unlike any of the reports stated. Then I was sent to a mental hospital. Offensive. I kept asking for my lawyer but they wouldn't let me."

On Friday, May 24, Judge Neil Ross warned the Easy A actress that if she doesn't show up to her scheduled court appearance on July 9, he will "set a significant bail." Bynes was then summarily released on her own recognizance.

Bynes' main concerns at the moment aren't about her place in the legal system, however. The actress finished off her long Twitter rant on Monday with a hint at her future endeavors.

"I'm free forever! You can't lock up an innocent person!" she tweeted to her fans. "Thanks for caring@ Look forward to seeing me in music videos! I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job! I'm looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!"

Angelina Jolie's Aunt Dies of Breast Cancer

Just two weeks after Angelina Jolie revealed she had a preventative double mastectomy to lower her risk of breast cancer, the actress' aunt has passed away after battling the disease.

Jolie's uncle, Ron Martin, confirmed to E! News that his wife, Debbie Martin, died Sunday, May 26. "Angelina has been in touch throughout the week and her brother Jamie has been with us, giving his support day by day," he said.

Debbie was the younger sister of Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie's late mother. Bertrand died in 2007 at the age of 56 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Earlier this month, Jolie, 37, revealed she recently had a preventative double mastectomy after learning she carries the BRCA1 breast cancer gene. Brad Pitt's fiancee and mother of six decided to undergo the surgery to minimize her risk. "I can tell my children that they don't need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer," she said in her essay for the New York Times.

Jolie's uncle fully supports her decision.
"We have seen Angelina a number of times since Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer and Debbie and I were both very proud of her recent decision to have the double mastectomy," he told E! News, "and to do everything she can to keep her family from having to go through what we've been through."

Kim Kardashian Wears Tight Red Dress, Family Goes Horseback Riding in Greece

Kim Kardashian is adding another occupation to her resume: Photographer! Sightseeing via yacht near Mykonos, Greece over the weekend, the pregnant reality star, 32, grabbed a camera to capture the awe-inspiring views. As usual, Kanye West's love did not blend into the scenery -- embracing her pregnancy curves in a tight, sleeveless red dress, matching red lipstick, with her hair in a ponytail. In one photo, the budding shutterbug stood alongside sister Kourtney Kardashian, 34, who opted for a more casual boating outfit in tight white pants and denim shirt, with her hair covered up with a bejeweled headpiece.

The famous sisters arrived in Greece on Thursday with most of their family: Sister Khloe Kardashian, half-siblings Brody, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, parents Bruce and Kris Jenner, Kourtney's love Scott Disick and their kids Mason and Penelope. (The first shot of Kim hanging out on dry land featured a glimpse of her bare baby bump.)

The first-time mom-to-be likely begged out of another Sunday activity: Horseback riding. The rest of the brood, however, were snapped taking in more sights astride horses in the bright sunshine. The brood have been sharing thoughts and photos from the trip via Twitter and Instagram. "Enjoying Greece," Kim tweeted, adding that the views, R&R and family bonding time is "heavenly."

Angus T. Jones Won't Be Regular on Two and a Half Men, Wants to Focus on Music Instead

When CBS's hit sitcom Two and a Half Men returns this fall, the show will be half a man down. CBS announced Friday, Apr. 26, that though the show -- and actors Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher -- will be returning for an 11th season, child star Angus T. Jones will not be signing on as a regular cast member.

Jones, 19, could reportedly return to the series periodically as a recurring character, however, Deadline.com reports. Both Kutcher and Cryer have signed on for one-year contracts for the series.

A source tells Us that one of the reasons Jones will not be returning is because his interests now lie elsewhere: Music.

"They tried really hard to keep him, but he was just done done," the source said, adding that the young actor is interested in "Skrillex style" tracks specifically.

Jones made headlines in November 2012 when he released a YouTube video slamming Men and calling the show "filth," asking viewers to "please stop watching." Shortly after the video went viral on the Internet, Jones came forward to apologize for his harsh words, offering a mea culpa to the cast and crew.

The actor apologized for "showing indifference and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed."

In January 2013, CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler told reporters that she accepted the apology and was looking forward to having Jones back on the show. "The kid is 19 years old. I've got a 24-year-old," she said. "Between the ages of 19 and 24, there's been plenty of things my kid has said that I wish he hadn't. The bottom line is that cooler heads prevailed."

Cheerleader Kelsey Williams Criticized By Female Sports Blogger for Being "Too Chunky": Report

Words will never hurt Kelsey Williams. The NBA Oklahoma City Thunder cheerleader was recently criticized for her weight by CBS Houston blogger Claire Crawford, but she's trying to focus on the positives.

According to the Daily Mail, Crawford came under fire on Wednesday, Apr. 24 after she reportedly asked readers if Williams was "too chunky" to cheer. "[Williams] has been criticized by some folks in [Oklahoma] for having 'pudginess' around her waistline," she allegedly wrote. "Is this chick 'too chunky' to be a cheerleader?"

"But if she's comfortable wearing that tiny outfit and dancing for NBA fans, then good for her," Crawford said. "Besides . . . not every man likes women to be toothpick skinny. I'd say most men prefer a little extra meat on her bones."

Commenters quickly criticized the blogger's post, calling it "offensive" and "disgusting." Many also argued that the image used in the story was simply an unflattering photo. The initial story was quickly removed from CBS Houston's website, but a cached version is still online.

Williams, however, isn't letting the remarks get her down. On Twitter Apr. 24, she wrote, "'To be womanly always, discouraged never.'" She then added, "We wouldn't know what blessings were if we didn't go through trials. Thank you to EVERYONE for the compassion and love today. I'm in awe."

Miley Cyrus: It "Seems Right" to Wear Engagement Ring, Be Committed to Liam Hemsworthv

Miley Cyrus is more traditional than her fans may think. In the June issue of ELLE UK, the 20-year-old singer opens up about why getting engaged to Liam Hemsworth nearly one year ago felt like a natural progression in their relationship.

"We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed," she says. "But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it any more." (With current reports saying Cyrus has hit a rough patch in her relationship with the Hunger Games actor, 23, the couple of four years has put their wedding a hold, it's unclear when the singer's interview occurred.)

The former Hannah Montana star says she's making a conscious effort to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible. "We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight -- into my life and my puppies and my house –- and I just don't feel they get that privilege any more," Cyrus explains. "Like on my Twitter, I'm much more . . . not conservative, but you don't see a picture of my dogs. You don't get that personal stuff any more."

The "Can't Be Tamed" singer has the same conservative notion when it comes to her career. "A star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your tits," she says. "I don't want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it's all about their clothes -- or lack of clothes."

Cyrus also works hard at staying grounded while living in Los Angeles, which she knows is "not reality."

"This isn't like any other place," she acknowledges. "Everything is meant to be attractive, from the people on the sidewalks to the gold fire hydrants in Beverly Hills."

"I feel like Rapunzel," Cyrus says of the fame. "Rapunzel with a mohawk!"

Cyrus' full interview with ELLE UK hits newsstands on May 1.

Jenelle Evans Opens Up After Rehab: I'm "Addicted to Relationships," Not Drugs

Jenelle Evans is back at home after just four days in rehab, but the reality TV star claims that she was getting treated for the wrong thing -- blogging that she's addicted to relationships, not drugs.

Mother to 3-year-old son Jace, the Teen Mom 2 star previously signed off from Twitter on March 2, hinting that she was going to rehab "for you Jace, no one else."

Just four days later, however, the troubled reality star reportedly left the North Carolina rehab facility where she had been set to "address any addiction issues for drug use," her attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan, said in a statement.

Now, however, 21-year-old Evans says she ditched out early on her 30 days of rehab because she wasn't getting the help that she needed.

"I simply feel as if I didn't need to go to treatment if my problem isn't drugs anymore, and never will be again," she wrote Friday, March 15, on her Sulia page. "I need individual counseling and therapy if anything for being addicted to relationships. I can honestly admit this about myself and can't seem to help it unless I continue to get the help I need through therapy."

Last Sunday, March 10, Evans posted a photo of herself with little Jace in the backseat, along with the caption: "Just where I wanted to be. Morning sunshine." (Jace's dad is Evans' ex, Andrew Lewis.)

She added that she had originally sought treatment at a facility in Florida, but transferred to North Carolina after the original program turned out to be a "nightmare."

In her blog post, Evans also clarified that she is not currently seeing anyone, despite rumors that she and estranged husband Courtland Rogers have reconciled.

"Maybe instead of voicing what REALLY happened I'll just stay silent because silence is golden," she wrote. "But I will let everyone know that I AM SINGLE and I AM NOT DATING ANYONE. I'm focusing on myself and my son's life, nobody else's."

Earlier this year, Evans filed five assault charges against Rogers, 27. Both Evans and Rogers also accused each other of infidelity -- including his claim that Evans had reconnected with ex-boyfriend Gary Head behind his back.

Evans and Rogers tied the knot in December 2012 after just a few months of dating, but called it off after Evans accused Rogers of cheating on her.

Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough Split: "It Just Got to Be Too Much"

Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have decided to pull the plug on their relationship after more than two years of dating, sources confirm to Us .

And the notoriously busy Hollywood pair, who began dating in 2010, may have their packed schedules to blame.

"Honestly, their schedules were too hectic," a source tells Us. "It just got to be too much. I think they both just sort of knew they couldn't do it anymore. The travel and lifestyle got to be too much. Who knows if this is just for now, but I think this is for good."

In addition to hosting American Idol, Seacrest, 38, is also a radio host for his own show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, as well as a red carpet host.

His 24-year-old love is similarly busy, promoting her latest flick Safe Haven, opposite Josh Duhamel, out in theaters just last month. She and brother Derek Hough, 27, are also currently collaborating on a Starz scripted drama about ballroom dance, titled Blackpool.

Last month, the former Dancing With the Stars pro dancer revealed that her Valentine's Day plans with Seacrest were going to be last-minute.

"I know there are plans, but I don't know what they are yet," she told Us in February. "I think I might be traveling. I'm not sure where. That's up to my boyfriend!"

Lil Wayne in Critical Condition After More Seizures: "Everyone Is Praying For Him"

Lil Wayne is currently in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following a series of seizures earlier this week, a source tells Us.

Conflicting reports about the status of the rapper's shaky health surfaced on Friday, March 15.

TMZ earlier reported that the "Tap Out" rapper was put into an induced coma after his condition was determined to be unstable. According to the site, the seizures were so severe this time that the rapper reportedly had to be put in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.

A source tells Us that Lil Wayne's condition is being wildly exaggerated, however. A tweet from the "Got Money" rapper's Twitter account Friday evening seemed to support that fact.

"I'm good everybody," the message read. "Thx for the prayers and love."

"Wayne is doing well," a rep for the rapper tells Us. "We appreciate your concern."

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne's mother is currently on a plane on her way to her son's bedside, and all further decisions about his health will be held until her arrival.

"His family is there," another source confirmed to Us. "Everyone is praying for him."

Cash Money president Mack Maine, meanwhile, took to Twitter himself to reassure concerned fans that Weezy was okay.

"Wayne is alive and well!" he wrote. "We watching the Syracuse game … thanks for the prayers and concern."

Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, March 13 after one of his bodyguards found him unconscious on the floor of his room the same day he was released from the hospital following multiple seizures on Tuesday, March 12.

Gerard Butler Admits He Slept With Brandi Glanville, But Forgot Her Name

Brandi Glanville didn't just dream that she hooked up with Gerard Butler -- the actor has finally verified their tryst. On The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM Radio Monday, March 11, Butler admitted he did sleep with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, but forgot her name.

"It was a one-afternooner, but it was fun," the Olympus Has Fallen actor, 43, told Howard Stern. "She is wild."

But Glanville, 40, made it sound like it was a little longer than that when she went public that they slept together during a Jan. 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live. Glanville said they "had a little week of fun" and gave him an "11" out of ten when rating him as a lover.

Butler was informed about Glanville's comments when a paparazzo confronted him as he was walking down a street and reportedly said, "Brandi Glanville says you're great in bed."

"And you know what I said: 'Who's Brandi Glanville?'" Butler recalled to Stern. "Because one, I didn't know her last name and two, I didn't know she was a celebrity and I didn't know she was going to f--king tell people about it!"

How did he not learn her name? "Here's the thing. You're at a beach party, you're having fun and this girl comes along," he says in his defense. "'So, what do you do?' She says, 'Doesn't matter.' We hung out. We had a little bit of fun."

Once Butler figured out who she was, he called Glanville up. "I said one, 'I'm not very happy you did that because there are certain things you keep a little private.' And two, 'I'm sorry I said I didn't know who you were!'"

Butler is now, however, happily off the market. At the after party of the NYC premiere Monday of his new film, Olympus Has Fallen, the actor told Us why he loves girlfriend Madalina Ghenea, a model/actress he's been dating for 10 months.

"What I love about her is she digs me. Not many people when they get to know me put up with me and she does," he confessed. "She's incredibly beautiful, sexy, she's very compassionate, super smart and truly, she does get me. That's nice. It's nice when somebody pins you and they know everything about you and they see it in a positive way. A lot of stuff that I don't see in a positive way, after she's pined me I say, maybe I'm all right. Maybe I'm not the biggest dickhead on the planet!"

Kim Kardashian Resurfaces After Health Scare, Shows Off Baby Bump in Tight Black Minidress

Kim Kardashian's idea of taking it easy may be different from other people's. On Monday, March 11 -- six days after being urged to rest by her doctor -- the pregnant reality star reappeared in L.A. looking healthy, glamorous, and ready to take on the world.

Snapped pumping her own gas, the 32-year-old mom-to-be put her baby bump on full display in a tight black minidress with silver studs. She also wore black open-toed stiletto heels.

The Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star, expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West this July, has been laying low in recent days following a minor pregnancy scare on Tuesday, March 5. But a source told Us last week that she's "fine" and just needed a break from her hectic schedule.

"She's been working a lot, and with a divorce and the move and everything else she has going on, she just needs to take a little rest," the pal explained.

Kardashian's younger sister Khloe, 28, also reassured fans that all was well. "A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim," she wrote on her blog. "And I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now."

Added the mom-to-be herself on March 8: "Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm doing fine! Just resting...have a good weekend. Love you guys!"

Taylor Swift's Unopened Fan Mail Found in Dumpster

Is Taylor Swift "mean" to her millions of adoring fans? The 23-year-old Grammy winner receives countless pieces of fan mail each week from around the world -- but over the weekend, a huge stockpile of said mail was discovered, unopened, laying in a dumpster in Swift's hometown of Nashville, Tenn. Local Kaylee Francescan discovered the motherlode of ignored letters "covered with pictures, hearts and sparkles" while throwing out the trash.

"There were like hundreds of letters in there to Taylor Swift and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh!' I didn't know if they were stolen [or] discarded, so I threw them in a box," Francescan told ABC Nashville station WKRN. "And I'm like, 'Somebody needs to let Taylor know,' It did bother me [because] I know how much her fans mean to her."

The fan mail is typically sent to a P.O. Box at a Nashville strip mall, with a member of the chart-topper's team fetching the mail regularly. Thankfully, it was simply a clerical error, Swift's rep tells Us Weekly.

"A small batch of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Taylor was accidentally put with letters headed for the recycling center," the rep explains.

Indeed, Swift's gratitude towards her fans is well known. "It blows me away how thoughtful and organized they are," Swift has said. "Sometimes they'll give me a scrapbook or a project that was made by hundreds of fans from around the world."

Steven Tyler Calls Taylor Swift "Hot," Says He Wants to "Write a Song With Her"

Taylor Swift, meet your next rock star beau: Steven Tyler! The Aerosmith frontman told Us on March 10 at the John Varvatos 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood that he thought the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer was "hot."

Responding to a fun question about who he'd intern for, the 64-year-old rock legend said, "She's blonde with all the hits. Taylor Swift. She's hot."

"More than that, she's beyond talented," he continued of the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, 23. "I have to write a song with her."

The former American Idol judge also talked about missing working on the FOX show. "I always wanted to see what the other mountains looked like…. TV is a whole other animal, and it was good. I miss J.Lo a lot and Randy [Jackson] on and off." Three celebrity judges have since replaced Tyler and Jennifer Lopez: Keith Urban and dueling divas Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

Tyler served as a judge on the show for Seasons 10 and 11 but decided to leave to return to his first love — music. "It feels good to be back with my band again. It feels really good," he told Us.
